Single-acting points: normally open and normally closed.
Normally open type is divided into: ventilated closed, cut off air open; normally closed type: ventilated open, cut off air closed.
Single-acting has a single function than double-acting. For example, double-acting can be connected to a three-position five-way middle seal, medium voltage and so on to achieve safety functions, but single-acting cannot achieve this function.
Double action: When the air source pressure enters the cavity between the two pistons of the cylinder from the air port, the two pistons are separated and move toward the ends of the cylinder. The air in the air chambers at both ends is discharged through the air ports, and the two piston racks simultaneously drive the output shaft The (gear) rotates counterclockwise.
Single-acting: When the air source pressure enters the cavity between the two pistons of the cylinder from the air port, the two pistons are separated and moved toward the ends of the cylinder, forcing the springs at both ends to compress, and the air in the air chambers at both ends is discharged through the air port, and the two pistons are discharged at the same time. The rack synchronously drives the output shaft (gear) to rotate counterclockwise.
