The die-casting industry uses die-casting mold temperature controllers to improve process quality, increase production efficiency, and improve the quality of die-casting parts. We have a certain understanding of these. For die-casting molds, prolonging the service life is an extremely critical point, so many people should not know the impact of die-casting mold temperature and mold life. Die-casting molds are made of expensive materials. According to different molding castings, the designed molds are different, but the price is very expensive. Therefore, the company hopes to make every effort to use each mold to produce more die-casting products within its service life and obtain more benefits and profits. There are many factors that affect the life of the mold. I will not repeat them here. However, the mold temperature has a great influence. Why do you say that? According to statistics, about 70% of the causes of die-casting mold damage and failure are caused by mold thermal fatigue, and more than 80% are caused by mold failure. The main problem causing these two defects is improper mold temperature control. In the temperature control of the die-casting mold, the two main functions of the die-casting mold temperature controller: heating and heat stabilization, are used for accurate temperature control with the mold as the direct object. Therefore, the influence of die-casting mold temperature controller on mold life is as follows: 1. The die-casting mold temperature machine can effectively preheat the mold in advance, avoiding cracks caused by the severe heating of the mold. In the preparation process of die casting production, mold preheating is the key. On the one hand, mold preheating can shorten the time for injection molding materials to close; on the other hand, mold preheating thoroughly can prevent the mold from being directly exposed to the instantaneous high temperature when high temperature materials are injected. , So as to avoid mold cracks due to local heating. 2. The die-casting mold temperature function can be used to uniformly heat the mold. The die-casting molding process is accompanied by heating, heat stabilization, mold closing, cooling and other processes. If the temperature of the mold always rises and falls uniformly, the service life of the mold can be effectively extended. The temperature controller uses its precise mold temperature to adjust the mold temperature. 3. Use the die-casting mold temperature function to stabilize the mold forming and demolding temperature and the temperature difference is within the allowable range. In the entire die-casting molding process, the mold temperature rises rapidly from over 200°C to the temperature required by the mold process, and the mold is heated to produce a certain expansion pressure. When the liquid material is injected into the cavity, the movable mold and the fixed mold are closed. After molding, the temperature of the mold begins to drop rapidly until the mold is ejected, and the mold is released and cooled, and then the mold is sprayed and cooled with a release agent. During these processes, the mold is rapidly heated and cooled. If there is no stable temperature control of the mold temperature regulator, the pressure on the mold surface will start from zero, which will have a great impact on the service life of the mold. It can be seen that the use of die-casting mold temperature controller can effectively extend the service life of die-casting molds and save enterprise costs. To make better use of molds, other aspects such as mold use, mold maintenance and cleaning also need to be paid attention to.
